Club working on deals for Gareth Bale

LVG seems to be getting even more backing (Picture: Getty)Manchester United are operating on separate bargains for Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Gareth Bale, according to reports.United have spent in excess of £250million during Louis van Gaal’s reign at Old Trafford, but that outlay was not enough to prevent the Dutchman’s side from crashing out of the Champions League at the first hurdle following a 3-2 defeat at Wolfsburg.Despire that, United’s hierarchy appear willing to back Van Gaal even further, with the Times reporting that the club are functioning on bargains for Ronaldo, Neymar and Bale. All three have been heavily linked with United in recent months, and while the club are desperate to rediscover their attacking identity with a big-name signing, all three players arriving at Old Trafford at once seems somewhat unfeasible.Nevertheless, United’s mammoth kit deal with Adidas has provided them with the means to fund such deals, and significant changes in the summer are expected.
